Counting blessings...

I was talking to my sister yesterday and she told me she was thankful we got along. Apparently her friends and their sisters don't get along and it makes her realize how grateful she is. I've always felt so blessed to have her as my baby sister even though she's no longer a baby anymore. She had me read one of her end of the term essays and I was so impressed. For such a young girl, she's got so much depth to her writing. I am so glad to be able to watch her grow and know she will do such great things in life. I forget sometimes that she's still a teenager because she acts more mature than most her age. The older I get the easier it is for me to realize what is important to me. My mother once told me friends come and go but your family will always be there for you. I'm fortunate to have family members who will always pick me up when I fall. I'm blessed with an amazing man as my husband who exudes sincerity and love in his countenance, who makes me want to become better and is always willing to see past my faults and love me for me. I have such a strong support system from all parts of the globe. I take comfort in knowing that I have the gospel in my life. I hope that I can help build strong character in my sons and help instill the tools they need for when they become older.
