Of Latter-Day Saints. I know who I am, I know God's plan, I'll follow him in faith."
I love that song and it's been in my head so I thought I'd share!!
I know that this week we'll find many blogs regarding General Conference. Expressing our renewal of faith, how we've received uplifting messages, to be mindful to serve one another and continue to live worthily. I feel like this past month has been a spiritually uplifting experience for me that I will never forget. I love hearing the words of our prophet and the General Authority. The fact that each message can speak to me in the most subtle way and the reassurance that the Lord is mindful of me. I especially like Elder Richard G. Scott's talk in the afternoon Sunday session. He spoke lovingly of his dear wife who has gone beyond the veil and made me want to be more conscious of my dealings with my husband as well as my little family. I know I tell my husband how much I love him and hope that I can show him in ways that he'll know with a surety. I am so blessed to be Isaiah's wife. It's comforting to know that this coming Saturday we'll become an eternal family. We know that this can only be if we continue to strive to better ourselves and live worthily. It doesn't stop at just getting sealed in the temple. We know that throughout the course of our lives it will take hard work and faith to continue to live the teachings of this gospel. Like most of you there will never be enough words to express to anyone how much you love your spouse. I hope that I continue to find little ways of appreciation to show to my husband and to lighten his load.
March 26, 2011 I had the opportunity to go through the temple and receive my endowments. There's nothing more sacred or precious than being able to go through the house of the Lord. I was overwhelmed with joy and made me even more excited to be able to be sealed to my husband and our family. This week is going to be a very hectic one but it'll be a very special one as well. I haven't found a dress only because I'm feeling very self conscious and my expanding belly is much much bigger than it was while I was pregnant with baby Jack but I still have a week to look. I think this baby will be a very big one. I can't wait until August 3rd which is my due date but I'll gladly wait to make sure that he's as healthy and as plump as can be!!
I hope that we can continue to take the messages we receive and heed to the counsel of our prophet and leaders. Have a great week and I'll be sure to post of our awesome day!!
