It's Almost Christmas...

And that means we will be going home to California for the whole winter break. We are so excited for Christmas this year. It'll definitely be nice to get out of this town. Cullowhee just has a way of sucking the life out of you! I can't wait to spend time with the family, see Grandma Va because I miss her so much, see Isaiah's brother Jordan who just got back from his mission on Tuesday, get some morning jogs in at Mile Square Park and to be able to play some basketball. It'll be exciting to see Jack spend time with Nana and Papa and to see him on Christmas morning opening his presents.

The end of the semester has arrived and Isaiah has been studying hard. He spends a lot of time in the library because it's hard to concentrate with all the noise we have in our little apartment compliments of Jack and Kendric!! I've been helping out as much as I can and have even stayed up until four in the morning just for moral support! Maybe not the smartest thing especially since Jack likes to wake up early but it is time well spent. I like to squeeze in any type of quality time that I can when the boys are asleep

even if it means me sitting next to Isaiah watching tv while he's typing up a paper or studying. Those are my favorite moments. The ones where we can sit right next to each other not having to say a single word. I always get a sense of overwhelming joy that brings a smile to my face when he reaches over to hold my hand or when he smiles at me. I am blessed to have him and I especially enjoy the little things.
Jack is growing rapidly and it seems like every time he wakes up from another nap he grows a little bit more. At first glance he looks like he's three but then when he starts speaking his Jackanese (Jackie's made up language) then you know he's not. Our poor little boy has been teething and so far has 17 teeth. It has been rough because he gets so irritated with the pain and he just doesn't know what to do. He's biting a lot more because of it. He is still really sweet to Kendric. Every time he hears Kendric cry, he'll run to him and pat his belly or back. Jack calls Kendric, "deh-deh" and calls Hola, "Ca-ca". When I told Hola that's what Jack calls him, Hola made a face expressing his dislike for his nickname! Jack still loves watching Cars 2 and has another new favorite movie which is The Santa Clause 2. Every time we turn it on and the preview of Freaky Friday comes on he screams and goes crazy! It's too funny!
He makes us laugh and keeps us on our toes. He knows when he's not supposed to do something because right after he does it, he'll run away. We've taken him to the park a few times and he just loves it. He loves kids

He has taken a liking to any type of toy cars and will gather them and place them in rows. He will also hide them. He loves to play with spices as well. I love watching him play.

He placed a pillow over his cars and when we moved the pillow this is what we found. Maybe he didn't want us to play with them!
Our little Kendric is also growing like a weed! He turned four months a couple of weeks ago and we went in for his check-up yesterday. He weighed in at 16.7 lbs and 27 1/2 inches long. He is definitely going to be a tall boy. He loves to smile and play.

He especially likes to chill with mommy!

Kendric took his shots like a champ. He hasn't been fussy and is just an all-around good baby. He loves to be a part of everything. He is a little nosy boy and loves to look at the laptop screen and stares at my phone when I'm texting!
It's so much fun to watch our boys grow and learn. Their personalities are very different but they love each other. You can already tell that they have a strong brotherly bond! Kendric likes to watch Jack and laughs at anything he does. Jack loves to give Kendric kisses.
We are loving every minute we have with each other. I miss and think of my Hola often. Sometimes we'll talk on the phone and cry. He says the sweetest things and he always talks about how he wants to grow up with his brothers. I can't wait until we'll be closer to him and that he will be able to enjoy his brothers and be the great big brother that he is.
While on Skype we talked about his Grandma passing and we sang "Families Can Be Together Forever." He also sang me his version of Boys II Men's song, "Mama." It was so precious. He is growing into such a wonderful boy.
I hope that you all have amazing things planned for the holidays. I know we will enjoy our time in sunny California. Have a great weekend!!
