Brotherly Love

I love the bond that our boys have. Kendric thinks that Jack is the funniest person in the world. Even when Jack is pulling his hair or trying to sit on him, Kendric will laugh. He takes everything in stride and I love it. I truly have been blessed with such amazing children and I am so grateful.
Jack had his 18 month check-up last week. He weighs 30.8 lbs and is 35.5 inches long. He is in the 99 percentile in his height and 95 percentile in weight. We are definitely going to have some tall boys which I don't mind at all!!
Jack likes to explore and is very independent. He loves watching Cars, Cars 2, Lion King and Gnomeo and Juliet. He loves to sing and dance. He pretends to snap his fingers and it makes me laugh because it's so cute. Papa bought Jack a wii so we play Just Dance and Jack goes crazy. He'll spin around and stomp his feet. His favorite song to dance to is Funky Town. It's too funny.

Lately he's been taking our Flip camera and records himself or the ground. I'll be sure to post a clip of life in Jack's eyes! The words he says are:
Dada, Mama, Papa, Nana, dede (Kendric), caca, ball, cars, no, baby, baba, choo-choo and bye.
Kendric is six months and is growing so fast. He likes to roll everywhere, laugh at Jack and loves to smack his lips. He refuses to sit up and loves it when I carry him. If he sees me and I walk by him, he'll cry. He has such a cute little smile and his eyes light up whenever I look at him. He is very long. He has a check up next week so I'll be sure to post his measurements.
Jack is doing so well with his brother. He always gets concerned when Kendric cries, he'll run to him and check on him.
Jack likes when I read him stories and lately I've been reading him stories from the LDS magazine, The Friend. He will sit and listen, it's too cute. I'm glad that he does because it is never too early for us to teach our boys. Tonight he even listened to me read a chapter of 1 Nephi in the Book of Mormon. I know, it's no coincidence that he's calm when we read scriptures and say our prayers. I love their sweet and innocent spirits. I am grateful that our boys are with us so we can help guide and teach them about Heavenly Father, His tender mercies, unconditional love for us and His son, our Savior Jesus Christ.
Here are some photos of the boys together.
Jack's not sure if he's ready to share yet!

Jack loves to watch his Trains on the laptop and K just likes to be near Jack.

Love these little monsters!!
