M.I.A.

Sorry for the delay in posting updates. Our move from Cullowhee to California was as smooth as butter! We had a 5 AM flight and the boys slept the whole way. It was awesome.
It definitely has been nice to be back. We arrived in California on a Wednesday and we were asked to speak that Sunday. Isaiah's dad is in the Bishopric so he called us a week before we were scheduled to leave North Carolina and asked if we could speak in Sacrament meeting. After we accepted, he gave us our topic. We had already gotten our records moved back to our old ward so I guess I should have seen that one coming.
Our talks went well and it was great to see everyone in the ward again. It is so good to be back and see familiar faces.
After Sacrament meeting, we were asked to be seen by the second counselor in the Bishopric. He had told me there would be a new Young  Women's Presidency and the new President had requested me to be her second counselor.
It's amazing how the Lord works, a few weeks before we left North Carolina, I had a feeling that I'd have an opportunity to be a part of the Young Women's Program.
I'm excited to be able to serve and be with our precious youth. I have so many fond memories of Young Women's and the leaders I had. It was a great experience and I hope that I can show and express to each young woman that she is valuable and hope to teach the girls what they are worth and especially what they are capable of becoming with the Lord's help.
I'm truly blessed and am grateful to continue to be a tool in the Lord's hands.
We went to Utah for my brother's wedding and it was beautiful. We stayed for two weeks and we were able to bring Hola back with us for the summer.
On Tuesday, our sweet and goofy boy Jack turned 2. I can't believe how fast time is flying. He is a joy in our lives and is full of love and energy. We are so blessed to have him as our son. I pray the Lord will always guide me and be with me so that I may help Jack along with our other children in the right direction.
I hope you enjoy your weekend. I'll be sure to post more soon.
