I have been updating his progress on my other BLOG.
He performed last Saturday in Santa Ana, California. His previous show was opening for Kurupt!! If you don't know who Kurupt is, he's a hip-hop legend and has been in the music industry for 20 years. I was so proud of him that night. Well I'm proud of him every night!! But it was an amazing experience for him to open up for someone so big!!
Ok for the judgers out there yes he has a tootsie roll in his mouth and no we don't discriminate! Grown men, grown business = none of ours!!
This photo was taken compliments of Janet Ropati.
As I was sitting on the couch last night listening to my husband flow he received a text from the owner of the bar he performed at in Pasadena, California asking if he'd be willing to open up for....
wait for it....
Rappin 4 Tay and Clyde Carson.
I was so excited because I like Rappin 4 Tay. That was the kind of hip-hop I liked when I was younger. Brings me back to great times when I hung out with my older cousins and thought I was cool!!
March 22, 2013 in Pasadena my husband will be performing at The Terrace.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, he has a show this Saturday at The Terrace opening up for BLU. (who? I don't know but it's ok he's opening up for Rappin 4 Tay weeks later!!)
Things are picking up for him quickly and his opportunities are opening up a lot faster than we expected. I have full faith in him and what he's trying to do. I support him whole heartedly.
He's had consistent shows within the past month and there are a lot of things in the works.
Check out his website.
The best thing about this is watching our boys listen to his songs on YouTube.
They dance their little tushies off and nod to the music like cool guys! They love music and will sing and dance any chance they get!
Here's to hoping and dreaming. But with those hopes and dreams we must make them reality. For dreams to become reality we must work hard and it'll take relentless effort. The thing is we're willing and ready!!
We were all blessed with talents and we must use them to the best of our abilities.
We mainly want to show our children that it's never too late to follow your dreams and that if we can do it, ANYONE can.
Have a fabulous day everyone!!
