I'm not exactly new to blogging but within the last two months I have been wanting to seriously blog and expand to those who are willing to embrace my thoughts and my writing. Like I always say, everyone has a story and it should be heard. I feel like I would like to share my thoughts and our family has much to document. As I researched ways to grow my blog, I came across blogs that offered a sponsorship. Basically you pay these bloggers to put a photo linked with your blog onto their page. This means they more than likely have lots of traffic going to their blog so you're bound to get some type of love! So far I've sponsored three blogs. All of which were great. My first sponsor brought more traffic to my blog than I had in the last two years. But of course they were just passing along the way and there was no depth to it. It was just numbers. My second sponsor did the same. There was traffic but no interaction. These two blogs I like reading because I can relate to them. They're funny and they're amazing writers. I'd like to say that the third time is the charm because my most recent blog that I have sponsored actually gave me more bang for my buck. Not that the other two didn't, I just felt like I connected on a more personal level with Brooke. She gave me shout-outs on social media and also posted about my little family on her recent post. She is genuine and so sweet. I have had people stop on by to my little space in the world wide web and post comments as well as follow my little blog. To everyone else, this doesn't seem like a big deal. But it is a big deal to me because I hope to share my thoughts, stories and feelings to everyone who would like to listen and read . My goal is not to boast or show off things that are of no importance. But to find as well as create a place to be able to relate with those around me, to support those in need and to find all that is good and lovely in this world. Technology is great if we use it for good. I will continue to sponsor blogs and I am continually learning as I go. I am aware that having this blog is not a popularity contest and I don't view it as that but I hope I can inspire and uplift those who I come in contact. People joke and laugh about bloggers being narcissists because if you didn't like to talk about yourself then why have a blog right? I believe it's more than that. History is so important and why not document your own history for your future generations to come?
What are some things that you feel are a learn as you go process?
